back in business

So, my fair readers (which are few and far between), I apologize deeply for my recent hiatus from the world wide web. in fact, i've been living in an internet/tv free environment for some 2 months now, which has been rather refreshing.

don't even bother asking me about recent celeb gossip, however, because i am TOTALLY OUT OF THE LOOP.

I moved (AGAIN) back to Provo after a brief stint in Orem. I couldn't be more overjoyed that my relocation coincides most perfectly with the recent change in weather. Orem lacks the quiet, tree-lined streets of Provo that are home to my most memorable beach-cruising adventures.

In other news, i cut my first haircut last week. my sister was an absolute gem, sitting for nearly 3 hours while i struggled through with shaky scissors. it turned out well though! i have a remarkable feeling of accomplishment and renewed confidence in my skillz. please call me if you need your hair done!

rest assured you won't receive anything as bad as the JcPenney Salon special i got somewhere around age 12. it was horrifyingly identical to Mrs. Carol Brady (i'm not saying she isn't mega hot!)


My mom cut the mullet portion off the back the moment we got home. disastrous. however, the perfect foreshadowing of the impending emotional bloodbath that was to be my middle school years.
