my inner geek: EXPOSED

So...I have a confession to make. I have been obsessively reading zombie comic books for the last two months or so.

zombie. comic. books.

i just finished volume 7 of The Walking Dead series and it is AWESOME. my affinity for zombie films was a natural gateway drug into the world of geekdom i now inhabit.

i'm coming to realize that although i was initially ashamed of my zombie loving ways, it's something i can talk about with boys. as shallow as that may seem, it's really the only thing i have in common with the opposite sex (because i hate sports and raunchy movies). i've come to find through vast experience that boys do not enjoy conversations about fashion, makeup, hair, hair removal, clothes, shoes, food network, celebrity gossip, or "lady business"--the only other things I know anything about.
